This product is suitable for sepsis caused by sensitive gram-negative bacilli, lower respiratory tract infection, abdominal and biliary tract infection, complex urinary tract infection and severe skin soft tissue infection. It is especially suitable for infections of immunodeficient persons caused by multiple drug-resistant gram-negative bacteria, nosocomial infections, and central nervous system infections caused by gram-negative bacteria or pseudomonas aeruginosa.

 

 Usage and dosage

 

Adult:

 

Usual dosage: 12g once, once every 812 hours; For the treatment of severe infections such as intra-abdominal infection, gynecological infection, lower respiratory tract infection, urinary and reproductive system infection, and sepsis, the dose can be increased to 2g once, once every 8 hours, and the maximum daily dose is not more than 12g.

 

In patients with renal insufficiency, the dose should be adjusted according to renal function. When serum creatinine exceeds 424μmol/L (4.8mg/dl) or the glomerular filtration rate is lower than 20ml/, the maintenance amount should be halved. When serum creatinine exceeds 751μmol/L (8.5mg/dl), its maintenance amount is 1/4 of the normal amount.

 

Children:

 

Usual dosage: 2080mg/kg per body weight, once every 812 hours, the maximum daily dose does not exceed 6g.

 

Renal insufficiency: Dose should be adjusted according to renal function.
